Learning Analytics (II)

Is there any relationship between the way in which the learners express themselves and the scores they get for the different subjects?

Almost 50 learners were part of a 3-month study to give an initial answer to this question.

During the study, the learners completed different experiences that were used as the base for their personal reflection.

Upon completion of the activities, we categorised the learners into 3 groups based on the average number of language connectors used during the reflection (less than 3, more than 6, and in-between).

Based on this study, we found a significant difference in the scores for Mathematics and Social Studies between the learners that used less than 3 connectors by activity and the ones that used more than 6.
